My Personal Journey: Fueling Passion for Diversity

As the founder of Clueo Clinical, I deeply understand the challenges that under-represented groups face in the clinical research industry. Growing up in Vietnam with my mother, grandmother, and two older brothers, I experienced firsthand the struggles of poverty and limited opportunities. Despite these obstacles, my determination led me to overcome adversity, eventually becoming the dux of my school.

Relocating to Australia, I faced a new set of challenges—adapting to a new culture, language, and environment, all while being away from my family. On top of that, I encountered discrimination and having to start from scratch in a foreign country. However, I was determined to honour the sacrifices my parents made for my future, which fuelled my resilience and perseverance.

This experience taught me invaluable lessons: to be resourceful, to stand up and be heard, and that success comes when we have the courage to pave our own way. This drive continues to fuel my passion for creating opportunities for others in the clinical research field, particularly those from under-represented backgrounds.

My journey fuels my passion for helping others who face similar struggles. It drives me to create opportunities for individuals who are often excluded from mainstream education and professional spaces, particularly in industries like clinical research. My personal story reflects the power of resilience, determination, and belief in one’s potential. It’s a reminder that no matter where you come from, you can shape the future—and that’s exactly what we’re doing at Clueo Clinical.
