Who is this program for?

This program is ideal for anyone who:

• has little to no industry experience
• career changers
• wants to become a clinical research associate (CRA) (also known as a study monitor or clinical site manager [CSM])
• wants an award-winning, proven, industry-endorsed qualification to break into the clinical research industry

Requirements

• Tertiary education in a related science or health care discipline
• No prior clinical research experience is necessary to commence this course. It is advantageous, however, if you already have 1-2 years of work-experience in a health- or science-related industry
• This program is currently only available in Australia. You must have proof (working visa or Australian passport) of your eligibility to work in Australia to enroll

Duration

Our award-winning Industry-Bridging Program is made up of the following components, each with its respective duration:

1. The Clueo Clinical Foundation is a self-paced, skills-based, role-specific training aligned with industry standards. It includes interactive, hands-on, practical simulations and is designed to be completed in approximately 3-6 months. With the flexibility to finish at your own pace, this program is ideal for busy professionals who need to learn on their own schedule, anywhere and anytime.
2. Through our Career Accelerator Coaching, you will have access to our award-winning mentors, career coaches, and industry experts, who will support you until you secure your first industry role—that’s our commitment to you!
3. Only students who demonstrate exemplary behavioural and academic conduct, excel in their coursework, and maintain compliance throughout the program will be considered for industry internships and job placement opportunities directly through our industry partners. The Industry Internship is merit-based and may last from 3 to 6 months. These internships and job placement opportunities are competitive, independently assessed, and dependent on available placements from our industry partner organisations (such as pharmaceutical/biotech companies or CROs) throughout the year.

Course Delivery

Once enrolled, apart from the internship, which may require you to be in the office, travel to sites, and visit hospitals, you can complete other program components virtually anywhere and at your own pace.

Certification

• To earn the Certified Completion Certificate in the CRA Industry-Bridging Program, you must achieve a score of ≥ 80% across all written and verbal assessments, including career coaching.
• You will have unlimited attempts to complete the course mini and final quizzes.
• However, for the Final Assessment—a 2-hour exam—you will have only one attempt.

Once you meet these criteria, you will receive your Certified Completion Certificate in CRA Industry-Bridging Program upon successful completion of the program.

How to enrol

We offer two (2) enrolment periods each year, as outlined below, with a maximum of 10 students per program per intake. Admission to our signature IBP™ program is highly competitive, ensuring that only the most qualified candidates are selected to enter the industry. This selective approach allows us to provide tailored support to each trainee, addressing their unique needs and maximising their success in transitioning into the clinical research workforce.

PREREQUISITE

• A tertiary qualification in a related science or healthcare discipline. Preferably Masters degree level or above.
• Eligible work rights in Australia, including citizenship, passport, permanent residency (PR), or other qualifying visa classes.
• An updated CV that highlights your experiences and achievements.

IMPORTANT:

• A strong command of the English language, both written and verbal, is essential for this program. You must meet this requirement prior to applying.
• Enrolment will close once the maximum number of students for the intake period is reached. If you meet the qualifications but miss the first round of intake, you will be considered for the next round.
